All in all it was an interesting cultural experience and a fun night! Some of my other friends want to go now so I guess I'll be going back some time soon!

Country Line Dancing Night
It was my co-workers last weekend in Bakersfield this weekend, and one of the things he really wanted to do before leaving was go country line dancing. So we put on our cowboy boots (actually converse....) and flannel shirts and went to Buck Owen's Crystal Palace, the pride of Bakersfield. It turns out, line dancing is no joke to these people. The regulars were intense and the dances were really hard to pick up.
