It was another chill weekend in California as the crew and I journeyed to Santa Barbara, since I haven't been there in a few months!
Unfortunately the weather was the best, but that didn't stop us from playing some volleyball and hanging out on the beach!
My two friends and I were upset we couldn't go swimming, but luckily our hotel had a big bathtub so we were able to make do
We were able to get a little bit of color as the sun peaked out finally around 4.
We had a fantastic dinner at a cool outdoor fancy restaurant, complete with some strawberry basil martinis and surf and turf.
That night we hit the town for some dancing and fun.
We went to some really cool bars that were filled with great music and good drinks. We stayed out all night going from bar to bar. It was hard to go to sleep as we had 8 people all on one room, but eventually everyone fell asleep!
The next morning I used Yelp to find us some good brunch. We found a place that you could build your own breakfast and it was fantastic
Plus is had some cool decorations
After that, we headed to the wharf which I have never been to despite my multiple trips to SB.
I even saw a little friend!
Overall, a good weekend with great people. It was just the relaxation I needed.
Gearing up for some really big trips in April. I have to use this week to get my laundry done and get my life together because I won't be home much the next few weeks! Stay tuned!
